Community

Everyone knows everyone in Pomona.  Pomona has a small town feel with all of the resources of a large Jewish area.  The neighboring proximity to Monsey brings Kosher supercenters, shopping, restaurants, mikvahs, yeshivas and much more.

Our community is within walking distance to New Hempstead, Wesley Hills, Suffern and Monsey.  Many people commute to New York City from Pomona (45 minute drive).

Bordering Harriman State Park, Pomona brings beautiful scenery surrounding spacious homes.  Interested in visiting Pomona?  Please contact us and we'll find you a place for Shabbos.

 

Kiddush

A good Shul is defined by the kiddish it provides.  It is hard to find a week when there is not a hot sitdown kiddish in our Shul.  The kiddish is a good opportunity for men, women and kids to schmooze with eachother.

Sisterhood

The Sisterhood provides meal arrangements for women who have just given birth, families who have recently joined our community, and anyone else who is in need.  Before holidays, the Sisterhood hosts boutiques and other fundraisers for the Shul.  For more information regarding Sisterhood events, please make sure to join our mailing list.
